Strawberry Lemonade

4 quarts Strawberries, hulled

4 cups fresh lemon juice

4 quarts water

2/3 cups sugar (your preference for sweetness)


In a food processor or blender, puree the strawberries.  In large pan, add strawberries, lemon juice, water and sugar. Stir 10 minutes over medium heat.  DO NOT BOIL. Remove from heat, skim off foam.  Pour into pitchers and enjoy over ice.  Serves a crowd. Can be frozen and thawed. Delicious as shaved ice.
